Ring of Roses is a cleansing buttercream soap from LUSH.
My Rating: ★★★★☆
4 out of 5 Stars
Scent: Fresh cut roses + a tiny hint of lemon
Price/Size: $9.25 for 3.5oz
Recommended for: Women, girls
Review: This soap is loaded with rose absolute, cocoa butter, and an infusion of larkspur, honeysuckle, marigold and cornflowers. It has the same scent as Amandopando bubble bar.
I have been dying to try this soap! Its the main reason i bought the Serenity gift set. First of all, its smells heavenly. Its exactly like fresh cut roses with a tiny hint of lemon. Im not particularly fond of floral scents, but I like Ring of Roses alot!
My only issue with this soap is the fact that although its a buttercream, its made out of a glycerine base and it really didnt lather well for me. I tried it on a loofa with not so great results, then tried lathering it in my hands, and finally rubbing the bar directly onto my body. However, despite the fact that it doesnt suds up so well, it did feel creamy and smooth on my body and washed off squeaky clean. This scared me a little because i was immediately afraid i’d be dry and tight after i got out of the shower, but i wasnt. My skin felt clean and soft.
I would recommend this soap to anyone, but it seems like it’d be great for first time LUSH buyers, or as a gift to someone who’s never tried LUSH. You really cant go wrong with this soap and most women will love the soft fragrance.

Love Birds soap is a creamy cake of jasmine and vanilla for lovers this Valentine’s Day. Sold for a limited time only.
My Rating: ★★★★★
5 out of 5 Stars
Scent: Keep It Fluffy bath bomb
Price/Size: $5.95 for 3.5oz
Recommended for: Anyone
Review: This soap was very creamy and lathered really well. I would almost say it actually lathers better than Snowcake.
The scent isnt strong, but its pleasant. It smells like Keept It Fluffy bath bomb (or jasmine + vanilla). If you ask me the vanilla is much more prevalent than the jasmine, i can barely smell it. This soap didnt exactly leave my skin so moisturized that i didnt need any lotion/cream afterwards but it was still nice. Good frothy lather + nice smell.
Also - this soap is cheaper and less dense than some of LUSH’s other soaps, meaning you will get a larger size bar for the same amount of money in most cases. I bought Alkmaar and Love Birds (both 3.5oz) but because Love Birds is less dense, the bar of soap was almost 2x the size of Alkmaar. So you really get your moneys worth. Overall, i would recommend it!

Sea Vegetable is an ocean scented teal soap from LUSH with a little sea salt on top.
My Rating: ★★★★☆
4 out of 5 Stars
Scent: Lime & lavender
Price/Size: $6.25 for 3.5oz
Recommended for: Anyone
Review: This soap is very relaxing smelling, much like the Big Blue bath bomb. Its a pretty blue-green color and has a little sea salt added on top for softening/exfoliating.
I didnt find this soap to lather very well, however i still loved it! The scent is great, very refreshing and clean yet relaxing at the same time. My husband didnt like it because he said it was “a little girly smelling because of the lavender” and I may have to agree… some men might not like it.
This soap didnt really soften my skin or lather well but i still gave it 4 out of 5 stars because of the amazing smell and the fact that the sea salt comes in handy when you need a little extra scrubbing. Would be a nice soap when you want to feel and smell super fresh.

Summer Pudding is a fresh, fruity, cherry scented soap from LUSH
My Rating: ★★★★☆
4 out of 5 Stars
Scent: cherry
Price/Size: $5.95 for 3.5oz
Recommended for: Women, kids
Review: This soap pleasantly surprised me. I never bought a full bar because i really wasnt that intrigued by it when it was released. However, in my last LUSH haul i received a sample of it and i’ve been using it ever since.
First of all, the cherries in this soap bar are mushy and kinda gross, to be honest. They remind me of raisins, and they really have no purpose in the soap… so they’re either going to fall down your drain, or you can pick the visible ones off and simply throw them away. Also, this soap supposedly has ground almonds in it for exfoliating. My sample slice does not exfoliate whatsoever, but that doesnt mean a larger bar wouldnt.
Overall, the soap lathers really well, smells nice and fruity, and left me feeling moisturized after my showers/baths. I actually think i’ll be buying a bar of this in the near future. It’s definitely worth trying.

Sexy Peel is a citrus scented, exfoliating bar soap from LUSH
My Rating: ★★★☆☆
3 out of 5 Stars
Scent: citrus, fruit loops, Each Peach massage bar
Price/Size: $9.95 for 3.5oz
Recommended for: Anyone
Review: This soap is loaded with orange, lemon, and lime peels for exfoliating, and if you ask me it smells like a big bowl of Fruit Loops, lol. Its very fruity and citrusy, and the smell is quite pleasant. Sexy Peel is a soap anyone would love.
However, the amount of peel in this bar of soap is somewhat dense in areas, and non-existent in others so at times it can be harsh on the skin. My husband and I both found it to be too rough for us so we now use it as a hand soap. Overall, it lathers well smells nice, and doesnt leave you feeling dry after using it. The scent doesnt linger, so if you want the lasting effect try using Each Peach (And Two’s A Pair) massage bar, which has the same scent.
I took 2 stars off only because of the fact my husband and I were unable to continue using it in the bath or shower because of it’s harshness from the peels. However, I do have to say that this soap lasts a long time (ofcourse we’re only using it on our hands though) and we have yet to go through a 1/2 lb chunk in 4 months.

Mandarins Tea Party is a bright orange, holiday citrus soap from LUSH.
My Rating: ★★☆☆☆
2 out of 5 Stars
Scent: mandarin oranges
Price/Size: $6.95 for 3.5oz
Recommended for: Women, kids, couples
Review: This soap stinks, if you ask me. Although i have to admit, i am not partial to mandarin, or orange scents at all. Not really a citrus person.
Typical soap. Smells of mandarin oranges, lathers okay, but is a little drying. In my opinion there was nothing special about it and not much else to say. Luckily i only had a sample, and did not waste my money on a full size bar. I am using the rest of the sample on my daughter because she seemed to like the smell a little.
Since LUSH is obviously a little higher price than most bath stores, I wouldnt recommend wasting your money on this product. It wont be around for much longer since Christmas is over anyway. You can spend money on much greater soaps from LUSH instead.

Alkmaar soap is a creamy, white, sexy scented soap from LUSH.
My Rating: ★★★★★
5 out of 5 Stars
Scent: coconut + jasmine
Price/Size: $7.95 for 3.5oz
Recommended for: Anyone
Review: Alright, so i know alot of people may not smell coconut in this soap, but thats exactly when I smell every single time. In fact, its a sweeter smelling, less ‘smokey’,  version of the Coolaulin scent, if you ask me. No, it’s not super cute or colorful like other LUSH soaps, but its still amazing.
I’ve desperately been wanting to try I Should Coco or another coconut soap from LUSH but I obviously missed that one, so when I recieved a sample of Alkmaar and thought it smelled sweet, coconutty, and sexy (because of the jasmine and velvert) I was really surprised.
This soap is very creamy, but I find that it doesnt waste away as quickly as Sultana of Soap. It lathers well and leaves a very creamy, thick froth. Alkmaar rinses off clean, but leaves your skin lightly moisturized and soft after the shower. Its a really great soap! If you’ve tried Snowcake or Sultana of Soap and like them because of their creaminess but dont like their scents - try Alkmaar! The only downside is that i wish the scent lingered really long because I love it so much, lol, but it doesnt :(
